The Rev Up team is comprised of several key individuals, all seasoned professionals with decades of experience managing sales, organizing events, and working with clients to ensure professional and profitable results.
MIKE FIORENTINO, PRESIDENT AND MANAGING PARTNER
With over 30 years experience building sales, marketing, and relationships, Mike has demonstrated proven accomplishments in business development, direct sales, event activation, advertising, sponsorship, convention and trade show, and live event marketing.
Mike has extensive experience with facility and hotel management and business development. During his hospitality career, Mike has developed sales and marketing programs for properties including the Plaza Hotel, New York InterContinental Hotel, Starwood Properties, and The New Yorker Hotel. His vast experience in working with clients and properties has resulted in record sales and profit increases at every property he worked with.As Senior VP of marketing for NYC & Company, New York Convention and Visitors Bureau, he managed all NYC destination advertising, direct sales, and marketing and membership management. With a team of 35 managers, he built significant tourism gains for NYC and helped to develop special projects including the NBA All-Star game, World Cup, and NFL Kick-off in Times Square.
His experience in building sales and marketing programs and teams also includes extensive experience in the digital advertising and marketing field. Mike has developed content delivery and online and integrated sponsorship sales for entertainment companies, live events including social events, concerts, sporting events, conventions,trade shows and a myriad of meetings.
As the founder of Rev Up, Mike brings his years of experience, know-how and extensive network of vendors and clients together to form a nimble, effective and fun company dedicated to providing clients with measurable, professional, and profitable results.
TOM CIVITANO, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
A seasoned hospitality executive, Tom Civitano has experience leading sales and marketing for some of the most recognized names in luxury hotels around the world. In his role overseeing sales and marketing in the Americas for The Jumeirah Group, he increased brand awareness from 2 to 12% of market share in just a few years, successfully launching an unknown and largely misunderstood Middle Eastern destination to a new audience. He developed and lead a sales and marketing team strategy that resulted in a $50 million business with over 100,000 room nights annually.
As EVP of The Plaza Hotel, Tom was instrumental in creating a new image for the legendary New York hotel and making it the top luxury property in the city in REVPAR and reputation. He created opportunities for high profile visibility in movies, newsworthy events and promotions, all while motivating a high achieving sales team. At the Waldorf Astoria, he was responsible for repositioning the hotel as a New York icon while concentrating on high-end retail, corporate business travelers, and blue chip group business.Tom’s focus is always on the future and identifying new possibilities. He thrives on motivating his team and creating exciting programs to drive revenue and awareness. He is an industry expert and has served on the Advisory Board for American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, and was a Chairman of NYC Signature Collection of Hotels. He is a Screen Actors Guild Member and co-author of the Book “The Golden Rules of Etiquette” at the Plaza.
CONNIE CHIANG, PARTNER, REVUP
Connie Chiang, Partner at RevUp, has vast business expertise in China and the US, from fundraising, real estate development, and investment management. Connie is CEO of Pilot Holdings USA and has raised 8 mid-size to large funds in the last seven years in sectors including Commercial & Tourism Estate, Culture & Media, and Education.
Connie attended the Executive Program of Asian Business Studies at the University of Texas at Arlington and has a MA in Business Administration Real Estate from University of Texas. She currently serves on the board of directors of Beijing Northern Sea Investment Group and is a consultant of LINKAGE of China CYTS Tours Holding, one of the three largest travel companies in China.Connie handles a wide range of accounts with Conference Center of Las Vegas and the New Yorker Hotel, focusing on the Asian market.
CATHERINE PRICE, SALES & OPERATIONS MANAGER, CCLV
Catherine Price, sales and operations manager of CCLV Events, has more than 14 years of experience in sales and management. Catherine, who received Forbes Five Star Training, has an extensive background in the restaurant and entertainment industries. At CCLV, Catherine is charged with booking and overseeing all education events, meetings and social occasions that take place at the venue.
Prior to joining CCLV, Catherine was the citywide food and beverage group sales manager for Caesars Entertainment. There, she oversaw all restaurant and lounge group sales for Caesars Entertainment’s eight properties in Las Vegas, including the partnered restaurants at The LINQ. With her emphasis on establishing and building relationships with clients, Catherine achieved individual sales of over $2 million.Previously, Catherine managed day-to-day operations, supervised personnel and monitored budgets as general manager at Anthony’s Prime Steak and Seafood Restaurant at M Resort Spa and Casino. In addition, she has held leadership roles at Veloce Cibo Restaurant, Augustus Café, Carnival World Buffet and Village Seafood Buffet. Catherine was also general manager at Studio B Show Kitchen Buffet at M Resort and played a key role in the restaurant’s opening.
LINDA FIORENTINO, SALES MANAGER
Linda Fiorentino, Sales Manager, comes to Rev Up with over 15 years experience in sales and marketing. She began her career at Le Groupe Casino (France), where she developed private label programs for Le Group Casino’s French specialty foods division in the US and Canada. Linda parlayed her tradeshow experience as an exhibitor with Casino to managing vendor relations for Cook Eat Drink Live NY and Celebration of Teaching and Learning NYC. Linda now joins our team in a dual role as sales manager and meeting planner for our events in Westchester County, NY and represents the Belvedere Estate in Tarrytown, NY.
PERI HALPRIN, MARKETING MANAGER
Peri Halprin, Marketing Manager at Rev Up, oversees all marketing and communications elements. Peri is responsible for maintaining all social media pages for Rev Up and CCLV and works closely with the sales teams all properties.
Before joining the team at Rev Up, Peri worked for four years at a boutique literary agency after graduating from New York University with degrees in Journalism and Sociology.
ERIK SWANSON, SALES MANAGER
Erik Swanson, Sales Manager, earned his Bachelor’s Degree and acquired his international business certificate from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business with an emphasis in Marketing. His previous work history includes interning as an Investment Sales Associate with an independent investment banking firm and on the account side of an advertisement agency.
